Privacy Policy

We collect the information you give us directly, information generated as you use the service, and limited technical data needed to keep the platform secure and working.

• —Account information — your name, email address, and phone number.
• —Profile & onboarding survey — age, gender, height, weight, body measurements, fitness goals, training experience, and any injuries or health conditions relevant to your training, collected so your coach can build a safe program.
• —Progress data — weight logs, workout logs, and, if you choose to add them, progress photos.
• —Booking data — the coaching sessions you request or accept, including date, time, and session type.
• —Chat messages — the conversations you have with your coach inside the app.
• —Usage & device data — general technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and app usage logs, used for security and to keep the service running reliably.
• —Payment status — we know whether your membership is active, its tier, and its billing dates. We do not collect or store your card number, KNET details, or any other payment credential — see the Payments section below.

We use your data to operate AQ Method, specifically to:

• —Build and deliver your personalized workout and nutrition plans.
• —Schedule and manage your coaching sessions.
• —Power in-app chat between you and your coach.
• —Process membership payments and keep your subscription up to date.
• —Send you transactional emails (welcome, plan-ready, booking, billing, and account notices) and respond to support requests.
• —Maintain the security, integrity, and performance of the platform, and comply with our legal obligations.

Any injury or health information you share is used only to help your coach design a safer, more appropriate program. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.

To help Coach Ali produce your first workout and nutrition drafts faster, AQ Method may use Anthropic's AI models to process the details from your onboarding survey and progress data. Coach Ali reviews, edits, and approves every plan before it reaches you — AI drafts a starting point, it does not replace his judgment. We do not permit this data to be used to train third-party AI models.

Membership payments are processed by MyFatoorah, a licensed Kuwait-based payment gateway supporting KNET, Visa/Mastercard, and Apple Pay. Your card and KNET details are entered directly into MyFatoorah's secure payment page — AQ Method never receives, sees, or stores them. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, and a reference we use to keep your subscription active.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run AQ Method, each bound to use it solely to provide their service to us:

• —Supabase — our database, authentication, and file storage provider, hosted in the EU.
• —Cloudflare — video delivery (Stream) and media storage (R2), plus DNS and security.
• —Resend — delivery of transactional emails.
• —Google — Calendar API for scheduling your coaching sessions, and Workspace for coach email.
• —MyFatoorah — payment processing for memberships.
• —Anthropic — AI assistance in drafting workout and nutrition plans, as described above.
• —Vercel — application hosting.

We may also disclose information if required by Kuwaiti law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of AQ Method, our members, or the public.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active, so the service keeps working the way you expect. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep certain records for longer — for example, payment records for accounting and legal purposes.

You can access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Most profile fields can be edited directly from your account settings, and you can permanently delete your account from Settings → Danger Zone in the app. For anything not self-service — including a copy of your data, or questions about how it's used — email info@aqmethod.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

We protect your data with industry-standard measures: all traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS), and access to your records in our database is restricted by row-level security policies so that, for example, other clients can never read your data. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep yours protected.

AQ Method is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected data from a minor without appropriate consent, we will delete it.

Your data is primarily stored with Supabase in the EU. Some processing happens through providers based outside Kuwait or the EU, including Cloudflare, Vercel, Google, and Anthropic. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on our providers' standard safeguards for cross-border data handling.

We currently use only strictly necessary cookies — the session and authentication cookies that keep you logged in securely. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies at this time. If that changes, we will update this policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy as AQ Method evolves. We will update the date at the top of this page, and where a change is material, we will notify you by email or in-app notice.
